Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the protagonist's impending solo dungeon challenge within an F-rank gate. Before entering, he has an interaction with a character who won't sell him 'ego' items because he can't appreciate their value. The protagonist's mentor reveals himself to be worried about the risk and demands a quick return; not only giving a time limit, but implying he will enter and drag the protagonist out if he is gone too long. The protagonist enters the gate with a mixture of resolve and nonchalance.
