Synopsis

The chapter opens with a defeated pirate begging for his life, offering to pay more than his bounty. The main character finds this annoying, but before he can act the pirate changes tactics, trying to barter his life in exchange for the return of stolen property and then argues that killing him would result in a large fight. The chapter ends with the pirate ordering his crew to flee, proclaiming his death will be enough.
