Synopsis

The chapter reveals Jihye Lee's lineage, connecting her not directly to Admiral Sunsin Lee, but to his comrade, Eokgi Lee. This revelation explains why Sunsin Lee chose her as an incarnation and how this link is tied to her new power, a stigma linked to Sunsin Lee’s historical battles. Despite feeling undeserving due to her past actions, Jihye is pushed to survive and fight, accepting her new abilities and her new direction. Through this process, some themes of the story including survivor's guilt and making the best of a bad situation are addressed.
