Synopsis

The chapter opens with the kingdom facing an assault from seemingly endless, regenerating monsters. The knights and mages struggle to contain them, especially with nobles hindering their efforts. The protagonist is increasingly anxious and overwhelmed by the situation, recognizing she's unable to contribute significantly to the fight. She feels Mirdin's absence and thinks something terrible happened to him, and while the Emperor Karmeut battles to protect her, the protagonist is pushed to her limits and loses consciousness.
