A crow apologizes for an earlier attack, explaining they mistook the character for another crow and that their study of crows who have eaten the Kroban Rock made them come to the area. Later, the main character is attacked by a different, territorial crow. The character then explains to their spirit companion how the crow attack wasn't because of the spirit's presence, and discusses delivering letters while being mindful not to worsen a curse. The character is then accosted by the same crow who apologized, and learns that they are seeking help with a situation.
