Synopsis

Reinelle reflects on how her clothing changes with new abilities, then learns about the possibility of forming a spiritual contract using a necklace. It is explained that her crow lineage gives her a high spiritual affinity, making a contract easier. Meanwhile, the corrupted Emperor's weakened condition is discussed, and his captors debate what to do with him. Reinelle begins her attempt to form a contract, surrounded by many spirits.
