Synopsis

Karmuet is increasingly frustrated and confused by Reinelle's recent distance, feeling as though she is avoiding him. Meanwhile, Reinelle observes that her presence makes Karmuet seem less approachable to other nobles and takes steps to distance herself. She also reflects on her negative reception by the palace staff and resolves to befriend them, successfully gifting a flower to one of the maids and earning her goodwill. Reinelle also explains to Karmuet why she's been distancing herself, focusing on being a "lucky charm" to him.
