Synopsis

The chapter opens with a loyalty competition which was a disguise to something else, with the ex-assassin Cedaron winning. It shifts to Reinelle, who has hatched as a bird and is struggling to eat typical bird food. Karmelit discovers her eating bugs and takes the initiative to find ways to ensure that she is eating healthily, eventually disguising them as flowers. The chapter ends with a new bug-collecting trend sweeping the palace as a consequence of Karmelit's actions.
