Synopsis

The chapter reveals the Emperor's drastic decision to change the national religion to the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult, motivated by a desire to counter the Supreme Saber of Six Martial Arts. This decision throws the Murim Alliance into chaos, as they had been planning to ally with the Cult against the Supreme Saber. Yeon Buso, the new and untested leader of the Murim Alliance, sees this as an opportunity to prove his worth and heads to the Imperial Palace, determined to convince the Emperor to reconsider. Meanwhile, the Demonic Cult appears at the palace as well, shutting down temples and causing further tension.
