Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reflecting on the strange 'game' he's been playing and the trauma it's caused. He's interrupted by a police visit, where officers question his presence at a recent fire based on security footage. The protagonist then attempts to explain the game's events and encounters with ghosts as well as a strange game shop, which the police find highly suspicious and inconsistent with their records. The police conclude that the protagonist has recovered from social anxiety and may be completely insane, further questioning his connection to the fire.
