Synopsis

The chapter introduces Han Fei, a comedian who's lost his job and struggles with his unhappiness despite his profession. He's advised to try healing games, leading him to buy a knockoff VR headset claiming to offer the game "A Perfect Life." Despite its cheap nature, the headset surprisingly activates, uploading his data and connecting to his nervous system, before promising him a chance to select a perfect life.
