Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist arriving late to the first day of magic tower training and intentionally getting demerits. He aims for the lowest grades to avoid being appointed to the royal palace and encountering a specific family member. Later, they tour a magic equipment storage and a chimera research area. The tower master is seen engaging in secretive conversations about a fast-growing chimera and later seems to conduct a secret experiment with the same creature.
