Synopsis

The chapter begins with a group learning about a stolen ruby crystal and then shifts to a group traveling through the Zaharham desert, having lost their way. They are attacked by their guides, who are revealed to be bandits and they are forced to continue on foot. Finally, they reach a village only to find the local inn fully booked due to a VIP. A disagreement with a patron in the inn hints at potential conflict.
