Synopsis

The chapter opens with the characters discussing the defeated monster, revealed to be a corrupted form of Marmolia, and its immense power. The antagonists, the Mage Tower group, reveal their plan to use the chaos caused by the monster as a smokescreen for a larger conflict, intending to use it as a stage to showcase their own power. Meanwhile, a maid-like homunculus appears to cut off their escape route, recognizing their connection to the incident, setting the stage for a direct confrontation with 'Mr. Devourer'.
