Synopsis

An Imperial Officer, seemingly not loyal to the Empire, arrives in a mercenary city to find 'Devourer.' He plans to use the city's high number of 'Raid Squad' members to find the ancient monster by using the demon king 'Melje' as a sort of beacon. The officer initiates a chaotic event by deploying a Homunculus, which is causing widespread destruction, revealing his plans to use the chaos as a method to locate Devourer, and sacrificing the city's residents as a 'small sacrifice,' showing his disturbing ruthlessness.
