Synopsis

The chapter begins with the arrival of Sir Ian, who informs the household of the Count's death and the presence of an Imperial Advisor. It's revealed that the Count's brother, Lord Daive, is possibly involved with the 'God of the Underworld' cult, which is seen as a dangerous foreign religion. An Imperial Advisor and a knight discuss the precarious situation and their plan to have Madame Rien become the new lord due to the threat of cult involvement and territorial knights, also revealing their intent to kill anyone who opposes.
