Synopsis

Lu Sheng is chosen to represent his camp in the Morning Star Selection, a competition for the most promising martial artists, and is promised significant rewards. His psychic abilities are observed to be exceptionally high, baffling his peers and instructors, which he attributes to a future mentor. He is then offered a large sum of money, encouraged to join the Eastern Military District, and ultimately informed of the selection criteria for the prestigious 'Morning Star' title, a position that only the top martial artist in the east will achieve.
