Synopsis

The protagonist impresses in potion making, outshining Ciana, who is revealed to be from an alchemy-focused order. A new homework assignment requiring a specific, missing ingredient prompts Ciana to suggest group ingredient gathering, however, the protagonist is hesitant due to past trauma involving Ciana's group. The protagonist is again seen silently praying, a behaviour used before. The chapter ends with hints at underlying tension and potential for conflict.
