The chapter begins with seemingly unrelated, fragmented text, then jumps forward six months, showing the protagonist having a domestic interaction with a character named Cathy. However, the protagonist is then revealed to be followed by a group, who decide to track him instead of confronting him directly, suggesting an unknown organization is keeping tabs on him. There's also a brief mention of Cathy possibly being "the oracle".
