Synopsis

The chapter starts with the protagonist and her friends enjoying a break from school, but quickly shifts to the Headmaster's investigation and his connection to a mysterious 'Higher Layer of Istas' where a missing student, Miro, is located. The protagonist learns that this dimension is a carefully guarded secret. Meanwhile, two other characters, Canis and Arin, are being interrogated by a powerful investigator from the Magic Association, whose mind cannot be read and who is revealed to be a former disciple of the same master as Canis and Arin. The chapter ends with the revelation that the master left a large sum of money to Arin, showing her a different path beyond the battlefield.
