Synopsis

Hart, a former war hero, is ordered to retreat from the Demon King battle to report the results to the Empire, revealing his true wish was a greater achievement. Meanwhile, Arut is sent to the front lines where a 'real hero' has appeared, leading to suspicion from the Empire about the Emperor's intentions. Arut is given a seemingly suspicious protective necklace by Ririnell, a powerful demon with great demonic energy before his departure to the frontlines.
