Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist attempting to feign an injury to go home, but his plan fails. He's then placed in charge of a group of unruly knights under the guise of monster extermination for the upcoming hunting competition. It becomes clear that this is a ploy by the protagonist's allies to get him to lead and that the 'monsters' are not the primary reason for the action. Despite the messy situation, the protagonist agrees to lead, showing a surprising level of responsibility.
