Synopsis

The chapter starts with servants enjoying the unique fried chicken, which prompts the main character to crave it. He then goes into the kitchen despite traditional taboos and instructs the servants on how to make it. Meanwhile, another character seeks inspiration for poetry outdoors, contemplating different themes and eventually ending up observing laundry and charcoal water used for stain removal.
