Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist battling enemies before encountering Moyong Hwi, who is revealed to be mentally broken and imprisoned. Through Hwi's rambling, we learn that his entire squad was killed, causing him immense grief and a surrender to despair. The protagonist tries to console Hwi, recalling their past bond and shared battles, but their efforts end in tragedy when Hwi appears to die despite the protagonists desperate attempts to save him.
