Synopsis

The chapter begins with a character reporting a sighting of a creature within a mysterious fog, leading to an investigation team's formation, excluding some members. This exclusion highlights the character's perceived weakness, causing him embarrassment and pushing him to act out. Simultaneously, the narrative reveals the grim history of the location, showing how the present group's trauma is tied to past events, driving a wedge between the character and the other members. Despite being told to stay behind, the character secretly follows to prove himself and aid his team.
