Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the young leader's visit to the Tear Creek Village, where he is shown the village's secret opium poppy cultivation and the production of a highly addictive drug called 'Devil Drug'. The village chief explains how he uses the drug to control villagers and their families for labor, while also expressing a desire to sell the drug outside their territory. The young leader pretends to be impressed and offers to help with smuggling, all while secretly being disturbed by the chief's sinister practices and hiding of the girl's father.
