Synopsis

This chapter discloses that Daegu, where the academy is currently camping, was the first place a gate opened, leading to a catastrophic event where only 3% of the population survived. The academy chose Daegu not just for camping, but to begin reconstruction, and the area is now a dangerous "field" overrun with monsters and corrupted mana. The protagonist is encouraged by a peer to hone his unique skills in the face of the intense environment, which is necessary to overcome upcoming challenges. The chapter ends with characters cautiously venturing into the dangerous field for what seems to be a negotiation for money.
