Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist having obtained a "mythic item," which he seems to be successfully using in combat. His opponent, previously in a dominant position, finds himself hindered by poison and surprised by the protagonist's abilities, including a dagger attack he wasn't expecting. The opponent reveals the protagonist is seen as a potential threat to the Gods and the protagonist declares his intent to kill him. The protagonist's unexpected power and tactical thinking lead to him gaining a considerable advantage.
