Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the city exists in a time loop, with the protagonist's mentor from the past, now present, revealing herself to be a 'Grim Reaper' figure working to prevent the birth of an 'Immortal King'. The protagonist struggles with a past where they failed repeatedly to save their mentor and is now faced with a similar mission, causing deep internal conflict. Meanwhile, the chapter also shows a flashback to the start of the protagonist's training and the introduction of the current mentor. Ultimately, both decide to team up to address the main problem of the city and thus, starts the main quest.
