Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist struggling against the boss, Mariette Dunaleff, whose 'bloodsucking' ability is rapidly draining their life force. The protagonist uses their unique 'Persistent Warrior' skill and memories of a child's kindness to persevere. The narrative shifts to Mariette, a vampire who initially sees humans as livestock, but then is horrified by her actions after biting a human. She's then confronted by another character, who challenges her behavior.
