Synopsis

A powerful, unknown monster is attacking villages, forcing evacuations and the deployment of adventurers. A reporter named Pellina Greensmith is interviewed about her past role as a water officer. Separately, a character questions the Church State's announcement of Paladin Purecreed's death, suspecting foul play, and decides to investigate. The character then heads towards Lizardman territory, and is attacked by pirates upon arriving.
