Synopsis

The chapter begins with the narrator questioning a mysterious being who reveals they are a first-generation creation of the goddess, existing for thousands of years. This being, later revealed to be the Manticore, explains that the goddess created this world using references from Earth. The Manticore introduces itself as 'Pet Shop Duplicate V,' a failed experiment of the goddess meant to replicate other creatures, including itself, through consumption. Finally, the revelation that the Manticore has a 'son' shocks the characters, adding a surprising twist.
