Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist struggling against a single sick orc, realizing their initial assumptions about orcs were wrong. They barely survive and understand they need more combat experience. Meanwhile, the orc tribe is suffering from an illness, and their leaders assume humans are behind their recent losses and illness and prepare for retaliation. The protagonist decides to employ guerilla tactics and isolate individual orcs for more manageable fights rather than engaging in direct combat.
