Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist stunning his opponents by blocking a sword attack with a book. This leads to a group attack, where the protagonist, rather than being overwhelmed, uses the ensuing battle as a stage, manipulating his movements with a theatrical flair. He reflects on his lack of remorse for killing in this new world while also strategically using a hostage to limit his opponents. Ultimately, he manages to get closer to escaping the tournament floor, showing he is in control despite the seeming disadvantage.
