Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist recognizing the princess has been kidnapped and poisoned, realizing it was due to his earlier failures. He then strategically positions himself to fight Ungram, using a close-range skill to defeat him. After the fight, the protagonist attempts to hide Ungram's body and his involvement, but is found with the wounded princess by the others.
