Synopsis

A group plots to destabilize a powerful guild by creating internal conflict and targeting its leadership, enlisting the help of foreign powers seeking revenge. The group requests the help of a master infiltrator to gather intel and agrees to leave a hostage as collateral. Simultaneously, the protagonist manipulates a mage, rejected by a party, using their vulnerabilities and a fabricated opportunity to recruit her for their coup. The chapter sets the stage for a large-scale power struggle.
