Synopsis

The chapter jumps ahead four years, showing Helmut's progress in swordsmanship and his persistent desire to duel Darien. He is then introduced to a regimen of consuming poisonous herbs, which, surprisingly, makes him feel better and is revealed to be demonic soil. This prepares his body to finally learn how to control Vis. He begins intense Vis training, focusing on absorbing nature's energy, but struggles initially.
