Synopsis

The chapter opens with a discussion about the Yeon clan's child, potentially a child of a powerful swordsman, showing signs of neglect. The focus shifts to a formal meeting where a marriage alliance between the Yeon and Nangong clans is proposed, though the Yeon clan head defers to his children's wishes on the matter. During the discussion, the head of the Yeon clan also asks for guidance from the Nangong clan for his son, Mubaek, even though Mubaek is supposedly a master of the Yeon's sword technique. Later, Mubaek meets Yeon Seoljoo, and together with her they look for Seoljoo's sister, who is described as 'ill in her heart', with the intention of befriending her.
