Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Medicine King Sect scrambling to manage conflicting requests from the Heavenly Grand Archive and the Nanhua Academy regarding a mysterious code they need deciphered and a poison yang beetle. The arrogant First Young Master of the Heavenly Grand Archive arrives, expecting immediate access but is met with a fabricated excuse and the suggestion he wait outside. He is aware they are trying to delay him and that they think they can intimidate him. Instead of bowing down, he makes a grand entrance, employing loud and flashy mercenaries, intending to make them see his own power, disrupting the Medicine King Sect's plans. The scene ends with the young master making clear he understands their game and will respond with equal measure.
