Synopsis

This chapter focuses on the protagonist's resourceful use of a self-made lightning rod to counter a powerful lightning attack. She then battles a mage who demonstrates impressive skill with fire and web magic, showing knowledge of magical counters. The protagonist reveals she was previously a mage with a focus on rapid casting, and then overcomes a web attack using the known weakness of web to fire.
