Synopsis

The chapter opens with the discovery of a young, injured girl, who's identified as a 'special species' test subject with a weak immune system. A debate erupts about her fate; some want to dispose of her due to her dangerous nature, while others, including a surprising character who claims to be her father, want to protect her. Meanwhile, it is revealed that one key character is the son of another important figure and there is a conflict between that key character and his team. Ultimately the girl is assigned to someone to care for, while the chapter ends with intrigue about why certain characters were acting in a peculiar manner.
