Synopsis

The chapter opens with an old man pressuring a monk to meet his granddaughter. Later, a character notes the stark difference between Ryu Seolhwa, from a novel, and the timid girl they observe. Ryu Seolhwa tries to garner her father's attention by helping with a new business, encouraged by her servant, Hong Sohee. However, Sohee has ulterior motives and was behind Seolhwa's current state, making use of her naivete to infiltrate the Heavenly Merchant Guild.
