The chapter begins with a seemingly normal day before suddenly everyone except the protagonist disappears. An angel, Lita, reveals that the rest of humanity has been sent to another dimension to learn to use mana, leaving the protagonist behind. Since he can't access mana, he must train his physical body instead, Lita pledges to help him prepare. The chapter ends with a scene depicting monsters and some humans returning to earth, revealing a future conflict.
The protagonist is left alone on Earth as everyone else is transported to another dimension to learn mana. An angel appears and informs him he must train his physical body since he can't go to the other world.
