Synopsis

The chapter begins with the group escaping their pursuers thanks to the protagonist's unexpected magic. They manage to put some distance between themselves and their enemies, but are quickly caught up to by the pursuers. A tense standoff ensues, and a flashback shows the princess facing an earlier defeat. The chapter concludes with the princess vowing revenge against her enemies.
