Synopsis

After three weeks in the Abyss, the protagonist returns significantly stronger, shocking their subordinates. They receive a report on labyrinth expansions, underground tunnels connecting different areas, and a massive increase in the Horned Rat population due to a stable environment. The chapter ends with the protagonist acknowledging that a war is coming and that their actions are the primary cause, and also that it will require ruthlessness to win.
