Synopsis

The protagonist visits a library to learn about the world's magic system and how it differs from his previous knowledge, including the absence of 'common magic'. He encounters a seemingly jaded professor who advises him to give up on his mage ambitions, while also being unexpectedly recruited by another person who seems to be assessing his capabilities. The protagonist struggles to find time-related unique magic while also dealing with his own personal goals, feeling overwhelmed by how different magic is in this world.
