Synopsis

The chapter opens with a group of antagonists encountering a mage they believe to be weak and arrogant. They try to trap him but are surprised by his powerful barrier magic. The mage then taunts them, criticizing their lack of understanding in fighting mages while effortlessly overwhelming them with a light-based explosion, revealing his casual disregard for their lives and the gang they work for. It ends with the antagonists questioning their alliance with someone so callous and powerful.
