Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist struggling to damage the Demon King, whose barrier deflects all attacks except for a dark stone on his forehead. The protagonist realizes they need a new strategy, but instead of fighting more, declares that their current 'playtime' is over. They then shift focus to the game they're in, deciding to create a new, powerful mage character through the Karma system, which provides massive benefits at the cost of severe penalties like chronic headaches and insomnia. This is all framed as a final showdown before the game's world is updated.
