Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character being questioned about their loyalty and intentions, and claims they are no one's servant despite their circumstances. Princess Hekate then meets with Count Russell, discusses her leaving the capital, and a possible visit to his county. Meanwhile, a strange fog appears near a forest, causing increased monster aggression and fear among the spirits. Ultimately, the chapter ends with the group being ambushed after they decided to retreat from the forest.
