Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist demonstrating increased power after absorbing lightning essence, achieving a stronger form and new abilities like spirit wings. They are then tasked with escorting Count Kimberly, a special envoy who is seeking an alliance against the Empire. Meanwhile, another character expresses concern about the escort mission, specifically fearing Hubert's death and joins the mission hoping to change that. The group now prepares to head out, with knowledge of the Empire's involvement and risk.
